CNC MACHINIST – MILLING X 2

Role Requirements To machine components to technical drawings and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities - Set-up and operate CNC Machines. Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.  Self-inspection of your own work. Preventative and General maintenance checks. Ensure all HSE legislations are adhered to at all times. Competencies Read and understand engineering drawings. Ability to set and operate CNC Machines – Milling. Ability to edit and prove out CNC Programs. Ability to use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers etc). Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances. Good attention to detail. Strong team player with a can-do attitude. Must be self-motivated.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures Produce components to the correct standards within a timely and efficient manner. Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program. Excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Job Requirements Qualifications Previous experience within the Oil and Gas industry is preferred but not essential. Minimum 5 years’ experience operating CNC Machines. Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar. 

Fanuc experience is advantageous
