Rob Bartlett
Director & CEO, BVAA
Our Director & CEO Rob has over 40 years’ experience in engineering/fluid controls including 30 years in senior positions in trade associations - 20 of those as CEO of the BVAA. He leads all aspects of the Association and its work, including overall responsibility for resources and operations, P&L, support for the Board, members, and various external bodies and contractors, including the technical and business development functions.Director & CEO, BVAA
Dave Godfrey - Chairman
Head of Aftermarket, Rotork
Dave joined Rotork in 2004 as an Advanced Modern Apprentice and is now Head of Aftermarket. Dave’s BVAA journey began with his participation on the first Future Leaders Programme in 2016, he was then co-opted to the board, before being made an official board member, then Vice Chair and now Chairman in November 2022.Head of Aftermarket, Rotork
Karen Webb
Membership Development Manager
A career in project management and NGOs, Karen has over twelve years with BVAA, and is responsible for all matters pertaining to membership development.
Karen is the first point of contact for new memberships, in-house and bespoke training and overall management of membership activities.

Sophie Keene
Events and General Manager
Sophie co-ordinates a full calendar of BVAA business development and industry events. These include BVAA AGM, Spring Conference, Supplier Days and Desktop Exhibitions, as well as exhibitions such as IVS, Valve World, CHEMUK Expo and much more.Events and General Manager
Barbra Homer
Training Co-ordinator
Barbra is first point of contact for all training bookings and administration. She is additionally responsible for meeting room bookings as well as providing support and office administration.Training Co-ordinator
Peter Dix CEng MIMechE - Co-opted Board Member
Principal Technical Consultant & Leading Lecturer
Peter is currently working as a consultant to the valve industry, and as BVAA's principal technical consultant and chief lecturer. Kim Wainwright
Accounts & Admin Co-ordinator
