Abacus Valves was established in 1988 to manufacture and supply wafer check valves to the energy and process industries worldwide. The company has grown consistently as a result of our ability to understand and meet our customers’ needs cost effectively and on time.

With many years of experience and specialisation we’ve developed the most comprehensive range of wafer check and nozzle check (axial) valves in the UK. Our large stock of commodity items, combined with the capability to manufacture from an extensive range of materials, ensures our clients they can rely on Abacus to deliver fast, but innovative, wafer check valve solutions.

Our design and development team are continually re-evaluating, improving and expanding our product range using the very latest CAD techniques. We utilise this expertise to undertake bespoke design and manufacture projects, allowing us to cater for any special requirement.

Angola, Armenia, Brazil, Canada, India, Ireland, Latvia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South America, South Korea, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom.

As part of an ongoing programme, Abacus has invested significantly both in CNC and conventional machine tools, enabling us to respond quickly and efficiently with the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Commitment to continuous improvement through employee participation is an underpinning principle of our business approach. Quality assurance is the vehicle we use to carry through this improvement. All valves are manufactured to the applicable national standards, while Abacus itself operates a quality system independently accredited to ISO9001 – 2015.
